Students know that a literature review is a comprehensive overview of prior research
regarding a specific topic. Students know that this overview shows the reader what is known
about a topic, and what is not yet known.

Students understand the importance of a literature review as part of a research project.

Students are able to write a sound literature review about the topic they intend to work on in their master's theses.
